Mass Times

Changes to Mass times and Mass Availability

We have been hearing about more restrictions being lifted and I am sure that you will be happy to know that we can now have 50 people gathered in the church for Mass, personal prayer, and/or reconciliation from this 1st June. We do of course have a few rules around how we do this and we have to be very careful to maintain social distancing and sensitisation measures.

This is the instruction we have had from the Diocese is the following -

For Masses generally: the number is 50 plus the priest.

For Weddings: the number is 20 plus the priest and the bride and groom.

For Funerals: the number is for indoors, 50 plus the priest and the funeral director attendants

For Baptisms: the number is 50, including family and guests, plus the priest.

If you have a cold or feel unwell in any way please stay and home and do not come to the Church.
