COVID UPDATE

The Churches will remain closed over Christmas.


The Priest of the Parish will be doing an online Mass more details will follow.

We will be praying for all our parishioners and their families and those who are suffering from this pandemic.

We will monitor situation and will update this site as information becomes available.

We will also send latest status update via the eNews (subscribe if you do not receive parish eNews).


Tap and Go is at all churches now.

Covid Restrictions

These number will change - We are awaiting update on Lockdown on Northern Beaches

Maximum capacity for religious services including Weddings (based on one person per sq metre rule):

  • OLGC is a maximum xxx?

  • You must use face masks when you attend church for any Mass, religious service or prayer.

COVID SAFE

Please note the following requirements

  • You will be required to sign in (with contact details in case contact tracing needs to be carried out) This can be done via a QR code using NSW Services app on Apple or Android smart phones, or via list at the door. We recommend the use of QR code.

  • Families or people from the same household must sit together.

  • You will no longer be required to make a booking with the Parish Office.

  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided..

  • Please maintain social distancing of one person per 2 square meter (in other words, one arm length distance), at all times.

  • Please do not attend Mass if you are feeling unwell or are waiting for Covid-19 test results.

  • Please do not attend Mass if you have visited a “hotspot” as listed on the NSW Health website in the last 14 days.

  • Parishioners must use face masks when you attend church for any Mass, religious service or prayer.

Mass Online

Diocesan Masses at Hornsby Cathedral Church -

  • Daily Mass is live streamed at 7.00am.

  • Sunday Mass is live streamed at 9.30am.

When you attend Mass, you will need to register via QR code (NSW Services) or write your name on the list so that we can keep a record of who is at each Mass. You must use face masks when you attend church for any Mass, religious service or prayer. (these is a government health requirement)

There will be no collection plate handed around but we will have a “plate” at the entrance of the church if you wish to leave something, or use the tap and go at St Martin’s and OLGC.

Weekday Masses

NO MASSES DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS

OLGC:

    • 9:15am - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

St Martins:

    • 9:15am - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

    • 8:00am Saturday

There will be no Weekday Mass at St Martin’s on:

Tuesday 29th December

Thursday 30th December

Friday 1st January.

St Anthonys:

    • 10am Wednesday

Should you wish to go to Reconciliation please ask the priest at Mass or phone Fr Jose to book a time
